370+ transactions. Years of experience. And a genuine belief that real estate is about people, not just properties.
Since joining Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors in DeWitt in June 2018, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients navigate some of life’s biggest transitions. I work with first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, those looking to downsize, investors, and buyers interested in farm and land properties throughout Clinton County and parts of Jackson, Cedar and Scott counties.
What keeps me passionate about real estate is the relationships. I especially love working with repeat clients and people I’ve known for years—and sometimes their children or parents. Getting a call years later because someone is ready for their next move is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
A Calm Voice When It Matters
Real estate can be stressful, and negotiations can get emotional. I believe one of my greatest strengths is staying calm, asking the right questions, and helping clients see the bigger picture.
I don’t want my clients to make a decision because I think it’s right. I want them to make the decision that’s right for them.
Sometimes that means moving forward. Sometimes it means taking a step back and gathering more information. My job is to help my clients feel confident in their decisions and know they have someone in their corner.
I hope people find me easy to talk to, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in their success.
Rooted in DeWitt & Clinton County
I love the down-to-earth character of the communities I serve. There’s still a feeling that you can do business with a handshake, and when someone needs help, people step up.
DeWitt is one of my favorite communities to share with clients. I love seeing the investment that has gone into creating a thriving downtown and the pride people have in the community.
Why Ruhl&Ruhl?
Before joining Ruhl&Ruhl, I spent 10 years with another brokerage. I loved real estate and knew I was a good agent.
When I came to Ruhl&Ruhl, I learned how to become a great agent.
The company’s commitment to professionalism, continued growth, and personal development has had a tremendous impact on the way I serve my clients.
One of the biggest lessons I learned early in life is that no one owes me anything and I have to ask for what I need. That mindset helped shape me into the go-getter I am today and taught me how to stay focused and level-headed when real estate gets challenging.
A Little About Me
Home, to me, is my husband, Brian, and our black lab, Ember. It’s my sanctuary, but it’s also where family and friends gather around the pool and enjoy the living space we created in our barn.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me lifting weights, having coffee with friends, traveling with my husband, or cheering on Iowa Women’s Basketball and the Fever. I’m also a member of our local Optimist Club, continuing to find new ways to give back to the community I call home.
After more than 370 transactions, I’ve learned that success isn’t just reaching the closing table. It’s running into a client years later and hearing them say, “I still love my house.”
That’s the kind of success I’m working toward with every client.
